Untitled II

There’s something very special

In the way you speak to me,

And something rather charming

In the countenance I see.

There’s something so domestic

In the way I’d like to live;

The hand you put surely in mine,

The heart you freely give.

Inspired by a Tumblr Post at 12:48am in February

How wonderful to be a lake,
A river slow, or placid pond.
A happy home to fishes make,
While lapping at a cattail frond.

How pleasant to be rained upon,
And to provide refreshing drink.
A place to rest the graceful swan—
That would feel rather nice, I think.
